Northstar Chorus Annual Show, 1997
Story Synopsis: In the big inning, before baseball was a hit....even before America was America...there were Olympic games! These celebrated games put the sports' spotlight on the laurel-touting men of Greece and left the toga-clad Romans in the dark. Legend has it, in a misguided effort to win back the hearts of the women of Rome, the leaders of Rome grabbed their bats and gloves and took the field for what was too be the first baseball game ever. But, according to historians, the king ordered the game to be cancelled to avoid losing his crown. This was the first game, called because of reign!
