Northstar Chorus Annual Show, 1999
Story Synopsis: Tucked away in the little town of Pinnacle, Alaska, a lonely bar owner sends a telegram off to her sister in New York City. One small typo in the telegram has a dramatic effect on the message, and on the little town as dozens of gold miners descend on the area and start to seek their fortune. The miners dig, pan and blast their way through the hills without an ounce of luck. But the local law smells trouble and is out to dig up the dirt and reveal the plot! Peggy and Katie work hard to help the miners succeed while diverting the attention of the law. Will the miners strike it rich in the gold mines, or will they get the shaft?
