Grandma’s Anne Teak
Anne Teak is barely squeaking by making a living with her antique store, Teak’s Treasures. Unfortunately, after a long battle with City Hall, the land is being rezoned for town homes and a new business complex, and the young couples moving in will have no need or love for antiques. Anne, who has no insurance or retirement plan, realizes she is financially doomed. But her friend and co-worker, Mark Down, keeps bringing in old stuff and thinking up new ill-fated marketing ploys right up to the end. The attorney who is foreclosing on the land, Will N. Testament, is pressing hard for Anne to leave early, but she has nowhere to go and is in no hurry to leave. Watch as corporate progress attempts to leave Anne Teak in the dust.
